Alex has just called support team. He was hit by an avalanche whilst heading up to camp 1. He is Ok, shaken and safe back at base camp.

    Another terrible tragedy on the mountain. Our thoughts with everyone out there AND obviously huge relief that Alex is ok. Hope the rest of the team is ok too.
